GAL FAGANEL after music school in Ljubljana, he went to study in Zagreb and then in Los Angeles. Under the mentorship of Eleonora Schoenfeld, he graduated in 2003 and received his doctorate in 2007 at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. In addition to giving concerts, he also devoted himself to music pedagogy, copyright law, music technology and conducting as part of his doctoral program. Gal Faganel works a lot with chamber music. His mentors in this field were members of the Ysaye, Juilliard, Emerson, Lennox and Takacs quartets. For several years, he performed regularly in the string quartet Tetraktys, and he also participated in other chamber ensembles, of which the string trio is his favorite. In the USA he worked with renowned conductors and soloists (Zubin Mehta, Mehli Mehta, Yo-Yo Ma, Lynn Harrel, Midori Goto, Isaac Stern and Itzak Perlman). As a soloist with an orchestra, he performed concerts by Haydn, Shostakovich, Saint-Saens, Couperin, Bloch and Faure with Slovenian and foreign orchestras. Gal Faganel is the first prize winner of many important international cello competitions and a multiple prize winner of chamber music competitions. The Yamaha Performing Artists Competition in Illinois, the American String Teacher's Association Competition in California, and the Antonio Janigro Competition in Zagreb are among the most prominent. He is also in high demand as a teacher. He taught at the University of Southern California, at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and since 2008 has taught at Scottsdale Community College in Phoenix.
CALEB HARRIS works as a pianist, chamber musician, conductor and choirmaster. With the most diverse repertoire, he performed all over the USA, in Austria, Germany, France, Italy and Asia. As a choirmaster, conductor and music director, he participated in many productions of opera works from different stylistic periods. Caleb Harris graduated with highest academic honors from Oklahoma Baptist University and the Eastman School of Music.
