The architect Barbara Appolloni "sculpted" an oasis of concrete and glass from the former garage. The original building was designed in this "shoebox" style, where the architecture becomes part of the interior decoration, resulting in truly contemporary living spaces.
V Barcelona, on a plot measuring 3.60 x 10 meters, is an architect Barbara Apolloni strengthened the original structure with more than 200 tons of concrete, which turned the garage into a more solid residential building. This one is designed to be in constant dialogue with its exterior. The boundaries between "outside" and "inside" are blurred, allowing the interior to truly absorb the surroundings and the view of the city. This is what Apolloni achieved with frameless glass openings and delicate partitions.
The interior decor and furniture have been carefully selected so that they complement each other coordinate as much as possible. A careful selection of materials thus offers a wonderful palette where concrete combine with chestnut wood, stainless steel, Carrara marble and glass. The result is a space that is cozy and sophisticated at the same time. The furnishing of the apartment also refers to the surroundings that surround it, such as the round Sabine Marcelis or the luxurious sofa, which with its reddish color reminiscent of the rooftops of Barcelona. Residents can also enjoy the view from this pleasant and intimate living space on the surrounding vegetation and urban environment!
