The pop icon of the eighties, who drove the teenage girls of that era crazy, will be in a hurry with our neighbors. It is Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou, better known as George Michael. He started his career in the duo Wham! Since the beginning of the 80s, he has scored hits such as Young Guns (Go For It!), Wham Rap! (Enjoy What You Do), Club Tropicana, Careless Whisper, Last Christmas and many others. After the breakup of the duo, he started a solo career. The first albums he released as a solo artist were more than successful. This is how the hits Freedom, Faith, Father Figure, Praying for Time, Heal the Pain, Cowboys and Angels and many others were created. He is also known for his successful duets. So he was joined on stage by soul music legend Aretha Franklin, as well as Elton John. Together, they revived hits that were several decades old and brought them closer to a new generation. On his creative path, however, he had a dispute with the label, which cost him a decade of non-creation and a few poor attempts to restart his career. In recent years, he has had several run-ins with the law due to drugs and indecent behavior. After years of turbulent life, he decided to go on tour. Now he returns to the stage together with the symphony orchestra. It will also stop very close to us, more precisely in Zagreb. So we will be able to hear his greatest hits in a slightly different guise and sung live together with a symphony orchestra. He has always been considered a great performer that we must hear live at least once in our lives. We can check with our own ears if the once teenage heartthrob has transformed into a charming English gentleman whose singing softens even an icy heart.
