Germany - let's experience a winter fairy tale

The first snowflakes have already fallen on our skin. The cold winter wind will slowly arrive, as will the Christmas delicacies, the smell of which surrounds us more and more at every step. And if there is luck this year, then everything will be snow-white - forests, rivers, mountains and lakes and roofs of houses. Winter time is also vacation time, and a winter fairy tale can be found and discovered in Germany this winter as well. And perfectly, the German Tourist Organization rewards those who manage to take the most beautiful fairy-tale winter photo with "outlet shopping" in Berlin. But the prize in the raffle isn't just "outlet shopping" - we also have a direct flight to Berlin, a stay in a nice hotel in the center of the city, sightseeing and a break from the everyday hustle and bustle. It's worth a try, isn't it?

So what kind of winter fairy tale awaits us in Germany?

First we'll stop at Christmas fairs, which are found in the capital of the Rhineland, in Cologne, which is the fourth largest German city with rich history, and with that, of course, the city does not lack many tourist attractions. We suggest visiting the Christmas fair at Cologne Cathedral, where we can walk past stalls with wonderful handmade products and watch one of the outdoor stage shows. Or Palček's Christmas Fair (Heimat der Heinzel) in the old part of the city, where we can have fun with our youngest ice rink. And then there's more Angel Fair (Markt der Engel) and Village of St. Nicholas (Nikolausdorf), where we will be greeted by St. Nicholas, Santa Claus with reindeer and fairy fairies. It will also take place along the Rhine Harbor Christmas Fair (Cologne Hafen-Weihnachtsmarkt).

Christmas and New Year fair and there is no shortage of v Nuremberg. One of the oldest and largest takes place there Christmas and New Year fairs in Germany. Nuremberg Christmas Market takes place on the main square in front of the beautiful church bell tower Frauenkirche. Of course, the discovery of Germany would not be complete without visiting the capital, Berlin. Even in winter, the German capital impresses with its unique festive program and activities. Many invite us berlin wellness hotels, renowned restaurants, with a very special "bed on wheels" named BettBike but we can also set out to discover Berlin at sub-zero temperatures. In Berlin this year it takes place around 60 Christmas markets, which beckon with their diversity.
