Ingridients:

• ½ teaspoon of vitamin C powder (ascorbic acid)
• 1 tablespoon of warm (not boiling) distilled water
• 2 tablespoons of vegetable glycerin or non-comedogenic oil (e.g. argan, sunflower, marigold or hemp oil)
• (optional) ¼ teaspoon vitamin E oil
• (optional) 5-6 drops of essential oil of your choice (e.g. lavender, rose, geranium)

Preparation instructions:

1. In a small bowl, mix ½ teaspoon of vitamin C powder with 1 tablespoon of warm distilled water. Mix well until the vitamin C is completely dissolved.
2. Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable glycerin or non-comedogenic oil, which will serve as a base for the serum. Oils like argan are great for moisturizing, while glycerin helps lock in moisture in the skin.
3. Add ¼ teaspoon of vitamin E oil to add extra moisture to your skin and protect it from free radicals. This oil also acts as a natural preservative for the serum.
