This year marks five years since the specially designed sculpture FIRE OF PEACE AND LOVE has been burning in Trnovo pri Gorici. It was lit by the border mayors at the initiative of the founder of the International Peace Foundation White Dove Gianni Rijavec. The porcelain lantern in which visitors to Trnovo can take the Fire of Peace and Love to their homes was presented by the founder of the foundation to many important figures: Pope Benedict XVI in the Vatican, Garegin II - the head of the Armenian Orthodox Church in Yerevan, the Dalai Lama on his last visit to Slovenia, ... ... . For the fifth year now, the Fire of Peace and Love has been burning for peace within us and among us. The lighting of the fire five years ago (27.8. 2005) was followed by a grand concert by Gianni Rijavec in the amphitheatre of the NOB Memorial Park. It was a magnificent concert that marked this important anniversary. More about the concert on the website www.white-dove.org .
The 5th anniversary of the lighting will be celebrated spectacularly, in a special way, in a special place, with a noble purpose - a CONCERT OF GIANNI RIJAVAC WITH GUESTS ON A RAFT ON THE SOČA RIVER UNDER THE SOLKAN BRIDGE - THE LARGEST STONE ARCH IN THE WORLD. There are at least two reasons for this:
First reason:
Gianni Rijavec will organize a big concert with guests at a place that is one of the central cultural monuments of Primorska and Slovenia and certainly receives too little attention. This is a monument of world fame and importance - the SOLKANSKI MOST, which boasts the largest stone arch in the world!
Second reason:
The Soča River. One of the most beautiful Slovenian rivers of historical importance, especially from the First World War. "...and you will flow bloody for me, our blood will make you drink, the enemy's will harden you. Then the clear Soča will remember what your heart bitterly tells you..." wrote Simon Gregorčič in the poem Soča.
These are more than good reasons for a big concert to take place there.

In addition to the aforementioned, the concert will also have a charitable and noble character. Through a live television broadcast by TELEVISION SLOVENIA and the "LET'S STAND TOGETHER" campaign, funds will be collected for the construction of a rehabilitation center for brain injuries in Trnovo pri Gorici.
The concert will be broadcast live on television to raise funds for the construction of the aforementioned center, which is also of national importance.
