Gostilna zlata ribica is located in the heart of old Ljubljana, in one of the oldest houses, where wine was poured as early as 1790. later, the wine stream became an inn and got its name from the street that still winds past today - ribja ulica. our step will stop at the intoxicating aromas of the culinary offer from all over Slovenia, and we will also taste a wide range of excellent wines. for starters, you can choose between a cold farmhouse dry board with blue cheese, and you can also choose between meat and salmon carpaccio. for a warm appetizer, they recommend toasted prosciutto with terano and polenta, cabbage rolls with parmesan sauce and a plate of homemade strukljes. we can choose from pasta, among which it is worth highlighting wide noodles with seafood, gnocchi with venison goulash, four cheeses or cheese ravioli a la goldfish. in order for the goldfish to live up to its name, they have prepared a large range of aquatic delicacies for all seafood lovers. they recommend grilled sea bream with Swiss chard and potatoes, sea bass fillet in the oven or sea frog fillet in the "tartufato" oven. of course, we must not forget the selection of meat dishes, where we will be salivating over deer fillet wrapped in Hamburg bacon, with forest fruit sauce and raw štruklji. we will also be impressed by the large selection of salads: tuna salad, salad with chicken fillets or sea wave salad (with calamari, shrimp, shrimp and grana padano). in the end, we will spoil ourselves with cheese štruklji with cranberries, mascarpone roulade with forest fruit sauce, and we especially recommend the panna cotta with strawberry cream. in the goldfish, we are so passionately and deliciously expected.
