This fall is really spoiling us with awesome mobile phones, isn't it? First Apple, now Google. The long-awaited Google Pixel 2 is here! How is it different from its predecessor, how is it different from the competition, we have been wondering until today. Already their first Pixel was declared by Google as the 'king of phones', and they are quite confident about the second one as well. Do they have a reason for this? Let's see.
The Pixel 2 looks practically no different from its predecessor, while it is Pixel 2 XL has undergone quite a transformation. They are to the latter enlarge the screen, which now covers almost the entire front surface, s 5.5 by 6 inches. It's not an edge-to-edge screen, but it doesn't lack much. Let's turn our attention to the camera, which again draws attention to itself. Both phones are for got the highest score for its camera in the DxOmark test, namely 98, which is the highest so far. The resolution of the camera sensor on the back is 12.2 megapixels, with aperture speed of f/1.8 and optical stabilizer. In the camera, Google also introduced something called dual-pixel, which means they divide each pixel into two. One of the consequences will be, for example faster autofocus. The good news is that users will be able to store photos in the Google cloud for free, without limiting the quality of photos and videos. Cameras are also supported 3D technology and augmented reality (AR) technology, which will make using it even more fun.
It is also a novelty Google Lens, which was presented already this spring and will enable automatic recognition of objects through the camera and transmission of information from the web.
Pixel 2 it will be available in black, white and “kinda blue” and you will have to shell out for it 550 euros for 64 GB version or 640 euros for 128 GB version . Pixel 2 XL but it only comes in black or white and with a price 730 euros respectively 810 euros.
Can we agree that they offer everything that the biggest ones offer, but for a better price?
