Today, Google updated the Street View service in Google Maps with images from Slovenia and enabled users from all over the world to virtually explore national parks, beaches, ski resorts and other tourist attractions.
Google Street View is an extremely popular Google Maps service that has been available in Slovenia for about a year. It allows you to virtually explore and navigate streets through street-level panoramas. It is also available on Google Earth and Google Maps for mobile.
All users of the service can visit virtually Presidential Palace, center of Piran, Sečovel salt marshes, Goriška Brda, ski resort on Voglu and elsewhere in Slovenia. Walk around the city center Maribor , Dill, Izola, Bishop Loka and many others.
The Special Collect feature in Street View service allows visitors to see landmarks that can only be seen live on foot, as well as the inside of some buildings, giving users the feeling that they are walking down the corridors of famous museums or places such as, Ljubljana Castle, Lake Bled, Alpine Botanical Garden Juliana in Trenta and others. Users can view the place in detail and plan their visit more precisely.
