So what were the most searched for on Google in 2015?

Google's Year in Search 2015 (Year in Search 2015) is an overview of the most frequent searches in the current year. In 2015, we passed on Google over a billion searches. Among the most searched things (globally) we find attacks in Paris (over 897 million searches), Star Wars (more than 155 million) and water on Mars (more than 10 million). We also massively searched for information about the Rugby World Cup (more than 246 million searches), and the landmark of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning queen in history (over 100 million).
