"Gourmet Istra" is the name of the new mobile application of the Tourist Board of the Istrian County, with the help of which users can familiarize themselves with the entire gourmet the offer of Istria.
It is a list of approximately 500 catering facilities, wineries and olive groves, which is divided into three basic categories: gourmet guides, wine roads and olive oil roads. The best in each category are awarded with the TOP 2012 label. The data in the application is taken from the portal www.istria-gourmet.com and are translated into Italian, English and German.
Each facility is presented with photos, and there is also information about the name, address, telephone, web and postal address, opening hours, list of specialties, location on the map and distance of the facility from the mobile phone owner. The search is enabled by the name of the facility, location, category, recommendations and quality.
Restaurants, taverns and agro-farms can also be searched for in the following categories: Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe (JRE), Gault Millau, Istrian quality (IQ), Istrian truffles, Istrian beef.
Wine and olive oil producers can be searched for by categories: Istrian quality (IQ), Floss Olea, high quality and quality wines and olive oils.
The application provides users with a high-quality and useful way of informing about gourmet Istria's offer as well as faster and easier information search.
