We are slowly realizing that we are living in the future. Every day, we are convinced of this by new technologies and inventions that constantly push the limits of human imagination and abilities. Thus, they completely reinvented even the most standard method of visualizing ideas – pencil and paper. Gravity is a tablet that allows you to 3D sketch in the air, i.e. with a technique without a screen. You can draw your idea right in the air above the tablet!
Normally I would for a plot 3D model had to use complex perspective drawing. To begin with, on a sheet of paper, and later with demanding CAD programs that leave no room for imperfection and require thinking in a mathematical sense. However, soon all this will be possible to do completely easy way. With special ones glasses, tablet and pens will be possible sketch objects in the air and them too to print with help 3D printers.
Special infrared pen communicates with computer, which records its two-dimensional position and by changing position sketches creates 3D shapes. With help plates and you will be able to adjust the size of the sketch and the volume of the created objects. Gravity reinvents how you and your colleagues visualize ideas and present them to each other.
The project was created by four students design directions on Royal College of Art in Great Britain. They are publicly a product Gravity presented in February this year and also patented the invention. Active since then are raising funds to accelerate the development of a project that will completely change the way you look at visualizing ideas.
Gravity, which will allow us to 3D sketch in the air, can be seen in the gallery below.
