Guardian G-VOLT is a protective mask that sterilizes itself

Protective mask Guardian G-VOLT

The team behind the Guardian G-Volt mask claims that the mask can be used for several days, and even for several weeks due to the possibility of sterilization.

The growing concern about the new coronavirus has led to a huge demand for disinfectants and protective masks. The latter are otherwise a more cumbersome solution, as their shelf life is very short, and if used incorrectly, they can do more harm than good. The New York team LIGC App approached the matter a little differently and made a protective mask that should retained its filtering abilities even for whole days, but with the use of advanced grips you can also sterilizes itself.

Protective mask Guardian G-Volt boasts of filter layer made of laser-induced graphene. This one is by itself unfriendly to bacteria, so on it bacteria cannot reproduce. The mask should also be 99% efficiency filtered everything possible bacteria, viruses and remaining small particles, and retained its effectiveness for several days. Over USB plug we send through the Guardian G-Volt mask electric shock, which finally kills the accumulated bacteria and sterilizes the mask. Thus, according to LIGC App claims, the mask should last for a whole month of use. When the mask is no longer suitable for use, it should be signaled by turning on the LED light. They offer the Guardian G-Volt mask via Indiegogo, and one must be deducted 34 euros. The only slight downside to this mask for now is that they are starting to ship only in August this year.
