The second act of this year's Gumitwist season brings to our places the Dutch electro enigma,
who hears the name Dexter. Despite sharing a name with a character from a popular soap opera and the implications of the day
and dates, Dexter will only kill on the dance floor 😉
Remy Verheijen AKA Dexter, is one of the most interesting representatives of Dutch electro and
techno scene. With his work under monikers such as Dexter / DXR, Beserk, The Noodle Project,
Skindeep and Butterfly Kiss thrilled fans of greasy, funkoid and acid-infused
electra and groovy melodic techno. Together with Steffi, he has been running the Klakson label since 2000, which is
with releases by artists such as Fastgraph, Duplex, Putsch 79, Mr.Cisco and of course Dexter attracted
attention from electronic enthusiasts and established names from DJ Hell, Laurent Garnier,
Andrew Weatherall and Miss Kittin. With his live act, he performed in many venues
across Europe, and on Friday the 13th he will move from the laboratory to the big dance floor of the K4 Club!
