As summer turns into fall, it's the perfect time to get back to the skincare rituals you may have forgotten about. We present to you four recipes for hair masks for hair recovery after a hot summer, and for them you need nothing more than ingredients that you definitely have at home. These are simple, natural and effective hair masks.
1. Egg mask
Intended for: Dry, brittle hair without shine
Preparation: Beat the egg yolk with one tablespoon of vegetable oil (olive, avocado, argan, castor, jojoba or coconut) and immediately apply it to your hair, strand by strand, and leave it on for half an hour. Rinse and wash your hair with a mild shampoo. No sulfates.
If your hair is thick and long, double the amount of ingredients and do not use egg whites.
2. Mask with honey
Intended for: Dehydrated hair that has lost its shine and is light colored.
Preparation: Mix two tablespoons of honey with one teaspoon of lemon juice, then add one to two teaspoons of lukewarm water to make the mass homogeneous and easier to apply. Apply to hair, strand by strand, leave on for half an hour and rinse thoroughly.
There is no need to shampoo your hair after this mask, if it is oily, wash it first.
3. Mask with yogurt
Intended for: For sensitive and irritated scalp, dandruff and dry hair that has lost its shine.
Preparation: Mix a tablespoon of Greek yogurt and a tablespoon of honey, then depending on which problem is most important to you, add the following:
If you have dry hair, add a tablespoon of vegetable oil (olive, avocado, argan, castor, jojoba or coconut).
- If you have oily hair, do not add oil, but a spoonful of aloe gel.
- If you have dandruff, add a little tea tree or geranium or patchouli essential oil to the mixture.
Apply to the scalp strand by strand and leave on for half an hour, then rinse and wash your hair with a mild sulfate-free shampoo.
4. Mask with coconut milk
Intended for: For curly and dry hair.
Preparation: Mix three tablespoons of coconut milk and one tablespoon of castor oil. If your hair is long and thick, double the dose.
You can add 2 to 3 drops of ylang ylang essential oil or one beaten egg yolk (no egg white) to this base. Leave it on for an hour and wash your hair with a mild sulfate-free shampoo.
