The long-awaited electric motorcycle produced by Harley-Davidson, named LiveWire, will come to the market. The iconic v-twin engine will replace the electric motor in this case, but this is not the only model that Harley is planning for the future. These two radical concepts were shown by Harley-Davidson at CES 2019.
While it is Harley-Davidson LiveWire became a reality, the rest of the models are still in the concept and development phase. Two completely fresh ideas are at the fair CES 2019 presented in concept form and judging by what we have seen, Harley has it in front of him a diverse electric future. The design of the two concepts deviated from the already familiar palette 'bulky' motorcycles and represent a fresh wind with minimalist design.
The first concept presents itself as an electric motorcycle intended for fun on the field. The concept was given front and rear suspension, more robust tires, hydraulic disc brakes and considerable ground clearance. The design is fantastic and takes its inspiration from classic off-road motorcycles, with the addition of a modern touch.
The second concept represents city scooter, with a flat seat and skates instead of foot pedals. Good idea, but unlikely for mass production. It is not known whether any of the concept models will ever see the light of day. In them, Harley-Davidson combined rich tradition and presented his a look into the future. Now we can only cross our fingers that we will see a similar motorcycle on the roads one day.
