Harley-Davidson is just opening new chapters in its rich motorcycling history. They have announced some new motorcycle models that will see the light of day by 2022. We will be able to admire the first of them already in 2019.
It all started with a project called Project LiveWire in 2014, when Harley made their first electric prototype and released it to people to use. Based on their experience, the first electric motorcycle was created Harley-Davidson LiveWire. A motorcycle is supposed to be a force simple to use, because it has no clutch and classic gearbox, so we just turn the throttle and the constant torque of the electric motor is already available to us. The LiveWire motorcycle has a modern frame and suspension, USD front fork with single spring rear. The Brembo braking system takes care of stopping, but we will have to wait a little longer for more information about the electric motor itself and its performance. Everything will be known by August 2019, when the Harley-Davidson LiveWire was just about to hit the road.
