The comedy Harvey by American author Mary Chase was first performed on Broadway in the post-war year and experienced 1775 repetitions with James Stewart in the lead role. Of course, such an important play also experienced a Slovenian version; the last time was fifteen years ago. This time, the amateur theater Loški oder tackles the text, which is full of satirical, cynical and comic elements on the topic of psychiatry. The main role is played by Matjaž Eržen, whom some of us already know, as he has been faithful to the stage and acting for fifty years. In the comedy - which is far from a light, commercial play - the main actor manages to portray a man who does not submit to norms for their own sake, but approaches life in a slightly more unusual way.
