Be happy regardless of expectations and what others say. Never shift the responsibility for your happiness to someone else... That's how you'll be happy.
Let's look at the story.
A woman was asked:
"Does your husband make you happy?"
At that moment, the man straightened up proudly. He knew his wife would say yes because she never complained. However, the wife answered the question with a loud one "No. No, my husband does not make me happy."
The husband was confused, but his wife continued: "My husband is never there and does not make me happy. I am happy. And whether I am happy or not does not depend on him; I am the only person on whom my happiness depends. I decided to be happy in every situation and every moment of my life, because if my happiness depended on another person, thing or circumstance, I would have serious problems.
Everything in this life is constantly changing: man, wealth, my body, climate, joys, friends, my physical and mental health. I could go on and on...
I'm happy no matter what happens. Whether I have a lot or a little, I'm happy. Do I go to town or stay at home. I'm happy! Whether I'm rich or poor, I'm happy!
I'm married, but I was happy when I was single.
I'm happy for myself.
There are people who say: "I can't be happy today because I'm sick, because I don't have money, because it's very hot, because it's very cold, because someone insulted me, because someone stopped loving me, because I don't know how to behave I like it because my children don't make me happy, because my friends don't make me happy, because my work is average, etc."
I love my life not because my life is easier than the lives of others, but because I decided to be happy as a person. I am responsible for my own happiness.
When I take that obligation away from my husband or anyone else, I relieve them of the burden. It makes life easier for everyone.”
