London engineer James Roberts invented a special Helyx bike that gives the user more control over the steering. The special design allows the user to 'release' the rear wheel and the seat, which can then be used to further steer the bike.
A bike Helyx has a special system that allows the rear wheel and the seat are no longer aligned with a bicycle frame. In this way, I can control the bike with the handlebars, as we are already used to, or with the rear wheel. This enables us to implement more tricks, while for everyday driving it is more suitable to ride the Helyx v the classic way.
For the Helyx bike on Kickstarter fundraising is underway, and once the £30,000 target is reached, the fun and leisure bikes will be available. James wants to have 269 British pounds for each bike.
