Typewriters have been on the literary scene since the 1860s and quickly became an indispensable tool for every author who wanted to write their next book. They fell out of favor in the 1980s when the world started digital publishing. A new product called the Hemingwrite married old school typewriters with a modern digital version.
Hemingway were designed in Detroit as a portable utility that brings together high-contrast 6-inch e-Ink screen and high quality mechanical keyboard, which offers all the sharpness of a traditional typewriter and all the advantages of a modern device. "Sporty" aluminum frame with retro design and built-in handle, connects to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE and constantly saves copies for you on Evernote, Dropbox or Google Docs. The memory has space for more than a million pages, the battery life is six weeks.
