The third, final phase of one of New York's most popular parks, the High Line, is slated to be completed within the next three years.
Until then, the park on the abandoned railway, which is credited to architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro, landscape architects James Corner Field Operations and Piet Oudolf, will add a green amphitheater overgrown with plants that will conjure a sense of nature. The structure, an amphitheater named The Spur, will be positioned at the widest part of the park, at the intersection of 10th Avenue and West 30th Street. and will connect the two parts of the park, which were opened in 2009 and 2011. A must-see when you visit New York.
