Many electric super sports cars prove that electricity is becoming more and more interesting. One of them is certainly the Hispano Suiza Carmen, in which a modern, electrically driven seductress has been dressed in a retro guise.
Hispano Suiza Carmen is an electric car with modern technology at its disposal retro disguise - they drive two electric motors that they have together 1005 horsepower. Energy is provided by a letter-shaped battery T, which is hidden at the bottom of the 'backbone' of the car - thereby contributing to greater stability and a lower center of gravity. If we don't step headlong on the 'gas' pedal, we can drive up to on a single charge 400 kilometers long journey.
Hispano Suiza Carmen offers enviable acceleration, as from 0 to 100 km/h drives in less than three seconds, and its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. Unlike other extremely powerful electric cars, the Carmen is powered solely by the last one wheel pair. Advanced electronics ensure that a car with such power stays on the road, and torque vectoring keeps the front wheels glued to the ground.
Transferring that much power to the rear wheels can be risky, and in the case of a car Hispano Suiza Carmen not so much because the overall weight of the car is relatively light - it weighs 1690 kilograms and it is compared to cars Tesla S and Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, which weigh approx 2500 kilos, light miss. Thanks to the majority use of carbon fiber in the bodywork and Carmen it is, however, 'merely' a two-seater, not a sedan.
It is more than obvious that they are the inspiration for seductive curves Carmen, obtained from Hispano Suiza cars from the 1930s - it is a car H6C Dubonnet Xenia from the year 1938. If you don't know the car, don't worry, it was just made one male specimen. Despite the good aerodynamic shape, which was apparently already well known so many years ago, it was necessary to attach a diffuser and a splitter to the Carmen. The coefficient of air resistance is thus extremely low and is even lower than at Koenigsegg Ageri RS and Ferrari F12.
Hispano Suiza Carmen it has an interior full of luxury, in which we find hand-sewn leather and plenty Alcantara. The driver's space is enriched by inserts made of real aluminum and wood, which is a testament to the fact that we are in the 21st century 10,1- inch touch screen. At Hispano Suiza Cars, they will do just that 19 examples of the Carmen car, and each of them will carry a price 1,5 million euros. We can expect the first cars on the road this year 2020.
