HOFER's charity project Nasmeškotek broke its own record at the end of 2019. With the help of holiday cookies from Nasmeškotkov, they managed to collect as much as 19,617 euros in a good month. The amount of this year's donation, which is allocated to the program Botrstvo v Slovenije, is therefore the largest since the beginning of the project. From 2014 to today, the company HOFER has allocated more than 600,000 euros to the mentioned program, and more than 41,000 euros to the Smiley Face project itself.
With the slogan that together we can achieve more and thus help create a better tomorrow, that is exactly what HOFER wants to achieve. Since 2017, also with the now traditional one to the Smile project, which takes place within the framework their own initiatives Today for Tomorrow. Smiley charity cookies have the magical power to conjure a smile three times: to the one who gives it, to the one who receives it, and especially to children in need under the auspices of the Sponsorship program in Slovenia, to whom the funds from sales are allocated. Part of the funds was also collected with the help of creatively made cookies, which were decorated by the children at the workshops in Wintercity, the festively colored Minicity.
Through efforts to help children, they will, as they say at the HOFER company, continued in the future:
AT HOFER WITH SMILES, THEY HAVE ALREADY GRANTED MORE THAN 41,000 EUROS TO A FOSTER CHILD
The Nasmeškotek project represents a successful continuation of the long-standing cooperation and trust between the HOFER company and the Adoption program in Slovenia. From 2014 to today, HOFER has already allocated more than 600,000 euros to the Botrstvo program. "The collected funds are going to help many children this time as well," pointed out the representative of the program Godfatherism in Slovenia, Anita Ogulin. "This year's sweet stars, which brought joy to families with smiley faces, also had magical powers. They made dreams come true for many children, who will get the opportunity for healthy development and a better childhood with the funds from the sold Smileys," he adds.
THEY EDUCATED EVEN THE YOUNGEST ABOUT CHARITY
This year, at HOFER, the Nasmeškotek charity project was also supported by All-Slovenian contest My Smiley, where, through the promotion of creative creation, the topic of charity and sustainability was also brought closer to Slovenian schools and kindergartens. 261 groups participated in the competition, from which the jury, consisting of representatives of the HOFER company and the Delakorda biscuit factory and a toy designer, selected 4 winning groups. All groups receive a trip to Minicity Ljubljana, a package of HOFER products and a handmade Smiley face pillow, made from clothes donated by HOFER employees, created according to the artistic suggestion of their Smiley face.
