The Italian fashion duo Dolce&Gabbana spiced up the holiday season.
The special cosmetic collection The Sicilian Jewels, which includes a special edition of lipsticks and nail polishes, was developed in collaboration with makeup artist Pat McGrath. The glitzy, luxurious and colorful collection takes inspiration from the golden Byzantine mosaics and jewelery that lit up the runways for the Fall/Winter 2014 collections. As Pat McGrath explained, matching lipstick and nail polish is a hot trend right now.
That's why they chose four new shades in the line, dark red, purple, gold and green, which show the theatrical and playful side of good looks. The most demanding of them is green lipstick, which can complement festive styling, but it is also very suitable for a lighter, daily look, as it is distinctly feminine and striking.
