On which day do the public holidays fall in 2016? Will the calendar for 2016 be as merciless towards working days off as this year's? Unlike this year, the majority of work days off or holidays in Slovenia will not fall on the weekend. Slovenia has 12 working days off, and 2016 will be much more favorable to us than 2015, when many working days off fell on Saturday or Sunday. The view of the 2016 calendar is much better than this year's. Only businessmen will probably be a little nervous.

At the same time, it should be added that in Slovenia we still have five other holidays, but we don't stay at home. These are the day of Primož Trubar (June 8), the unification of the Slovenes from Prekmurje (August 17), the return of Primorska to the motherland (September 15) and the "newcomer": Sovereignty Day (October 25) and Rudolf Maister Day (November 23) ).
