Do you ever question who you really are? Do you ever feel like you're living in someone else's shadow?
Every story begins with a turning point, a moment that changes everything.
Mine started the day you left. Your departure was like a storm that destroyed everything I knew. My heart was broken, my soul was wounded, and in this pain I found a way to something new - to myself.
When you left, I felt lost, as if the world had lost its meaning. Everything I knew seemed empty and meaningless. Tears were my daily companion, and memories of you accompanied me every step of the way. But soon I began to understand that this pain is an opportunity for growth. I began to explore my inner self and discover who I am without your shadow.
I got up every day with a new purpose, even though it was hard at first. I started with small steps - morning walks where I could process my thoughts and writing a journal where I poured out my feelings. These small steps slowly led me to the realization that there was a strength within me that I did not know before. Every record, every step forward was part of the process of healing and self-discovery.
Your departure gave me a chance to rediscover my passions. I always wanted to write, but I neglected this passion. Written words became my way of expressing myself. Writing helped me find peace and express my emotions in a way I had never known before. Each page, note is a new chapter of my story, full of colors and depth.
After you left, I started dreaming big
Before that, I always put my desires second to serve you. Now I allowed myself to dream and follow my desires. I wanted to travel, explore the world and learn about new cultures. I planned my first solo trip, which opened my eyes and heart to new experiences. Every place I visited was like a new page in the book of my life, full of adventures and discoveries.
The greatest gift I gained from losing you was self love. I realized that my worth is independent of whether someone else loves me or not. I learned to appreciate my uniqueness, my talents and achievements. I reminded myself that every day i am enough – good enough, strong enough, worthy enough of love. I learned that I must love myself first before I can love others.
I gained freedom. The freedom to be who I am without fear of judgment. I realized that it's okay to be vulnerable, that it's okay to be sad, but also that it's okay to be happy and proud of yourself. Every moment I felt lost was a step towards finding myself again.
Looking back now, I see that this loss was real a gift. A gift that forced me to face my fears, my doubts and my pain. And in that pain, I found my true strength, my true passion, and my true happiness.
I realized that I am strong enough to weather any storm
Brave enough to follow my own I'm dreaming, and worthy enough to be loved - and above all, to love myself.
Thank you for being part of my life, because of you I found greatest treasure – your inner strength and self-love.
