They say that too much is not a bad thing. This is especially true when it comes to smartwatches. It's better to have more to choose from, with different shapes, materials, case and strap colors, and capabilities, than too few and be forced to compromise.
Huawei is truly a champion in this field. Barely had they introduced a complete range of men's and women's smartwatches, the Watch GT 5 series, at the end of last year, which, incidentally, meet the needs and desires of most users for recording sports activities and monitoring their health, and they have already surprised us with the Huawei Watch 5 and Watch Fit 4 series. Have you ever wondered who each one is intended for and why?
Since they all offer so many features in both sports and health management, many people will wave their hand at a cursory glance and simply decide based on appearance. You can also decide that way, but we still suggest you think again. The important differences are hidden in the details.
With a classic watch look, a little more emphasis on sports
Smart watches series Huawei Watch GT are suitable for both women's and men's wrists. They imitate the look of classic watches while offering a comprehensive range of sports and health functions. They are the first watches with a significantly upgraded Trusense system, which takes the accuracy, stability and speed of the optical heart rate sensor to a higher level. An important feature of these watches is also their long battery life, which in models with a larger case is up to 14 days.
Similar, but in a square case
Huawei surprised the market last year with an extremely powerful watch in a square case, the capabilities and appearance of which are upgraded by the Huawei Watch Fit 4 series models. There are two versions available. Fit 4 is more suitable for women's wrists due to its smaller case dimensions, while larger ones will Watch Fit 4 Pro men preferred to intervene. The differences are actually similar to those between the standard and professional Watch GT 5. In addition to the dimensions and the titanium alloy frame that upgrades the aluminum body, the Huawei Watch Fit 4 also has a built-in electrocardiogram (ECG) recorder and a slightly larger battery. The built-in Trusense system in both models provides comprehensive and accurate health data measurement. There is also a set of comprehensive sports modes, with some new ones calibrated to monitor water sports.
When health management is at the forefront
As for health management, a step forward is the installation of an additional optical sensor on the side of the smartwatch case of the series. Huawei Watch 5. X-TAP technology, as the principle of distributed optical heart rate sensors is called, significantly improves the measurement of health data. For example, it obtains blood oxygen saturation data by measuring it at the tip of the finger in just ten seconds. In practice, this means that anywhere, for example during high-altitude training, you can quickly obtain more accurate data than a sensor on the wrist can provide. That's not all that this watch boasts. The health insight function is very useful, which measures all key indicators in just one minute, including an electrocardiogram and an assessment of arterial stiffness. All of you who like to wander around nature without a phone will be delighted with the possibility of connecting to mobile networks, as support for eSIM cards is provided.
Huawei watches are known for their above-average battery life. This also applies to the recently launched Huawei Watch 5 and Watch Fit 4 series. Of course, it is not unimportant that they can easily connect to phones running Android or iOS, and that they have a large memory for storing music files, which can then be played on wireless headphones, for example. Huawei FreeBuds 6. Recreation or work is more enjoyable with the sounds of your favorite songs. After purchasing any of the mentioned watches, you will enjoy Huawei Health+ for three months for free!
