The combination of baking soda and lemon juice is a classic for a reason – it works. Baking soda acts as a natural abrasive that safely removes deposits, while lemon dissolves limescale and refreshes with a natural scent.

Process:

    • In a small bowl, mix baking soda with a few drops of lemon juice to form a thick paste.
    • Apply the paste to the stains, leave it on for about 5–10 minutes.
    • Wipe the surface with a gentle, soft sponge and rinse with warm water.

Tip: If the granite is more sensitive or lighter in color, replace the lemon with warm water - this will also be effective enough when combined with baking soda.

2. Melamine sponge – magic without cleaning agents

The melamine sponge is one of the best solutions for limescale and grayish marks caused by hard water. It works without detergents, just with water and physical friction - like a micro-exfoliator for your sink.

Process:

    • Moisten the sponge with water.
    • Rub gently over the surface – without excessive pressure.
    • Wipe the surface with a clean cloth.

Important: Melamine sponges are safe for granite if used gently and not every day. Recommended use: once a week or as needed.

3. Natural spray for daily maintenance

For regular cleaning and to prevent dirt buildup, you can make a natural cleaning spray from vinegar, water, and essential oil.

Ingridients:

    • 2/3 water
    • 1/3 cup of alcohol vinegar
    • 5–10 drops of essential oil (lemon, tea tree, or lavender)

Usage:

    • Mix the ingredients in a spray bottle.
    • Spray on the sink, leave for a few minutes.
    • Wipe with a dry, soft cloth.

4. Restore natural shine: a touch of oil

Once the sink is completely clean and dry, you can restore its natural shine with a few drops of oil – olive or mineral.

Process:
