First, fill a ceramic cup with water. Add lemon slices to it, or just the juice if the lemon is already squeezed. Place the cup in the center of the microwave turntable.

The heating time should be between five and ten minutes, depending on the power of the appliance. It is important that the water boils vigorously to create enough steam.
