First, squeeze the juice of one lemon. Then apply this juice directly to PVC surfaces where yellow spots or grease stains are visible. It is important that the juice covers it evenly the entire affected area. Let the lemon juice work for approx three to five minutes. During this time, the citric acid will break down the stains and dirt, making them easier to remove.

When the lemon juice has worked for enough time, take it microfiber cloth and rub over the surface in a circular motion. The microfibers will help with mechanical dirt removal, while being gentle on the PVC material, meaning they won't cause scratches or damage.

After they are stains removed, use a damp cotton cloth or regular kitchen paper to remove the remaining lemon juice. It is important that wipe the surface well, so that no traces of acid remain, which could damage the PVC in the long term.

Stubborn stains

If you are dealing with very stubborn stains, you can mix lemon juice with a little salt. The salt acts as a gentle abrasive that, together with the citric acid, effectively removes even the most stubborn stains. The procedure is the same: mix the juice of one lemon with a teaspoon of salt, apply the mixture to the stains, leave for three to five minutes, then rub with a microfiber cloth and wipe with a damp cloth.

You can use the same process for cleaning PVC windows with lemon. Be careful not to let the salt come into contact with the glass surfaces, as it can cause scratches. For glasses, use only lemon juice without adding salt.

Lemon is a natural cleaner that will help you maintain yours home clean and fresh.
