Most people are scared by the sight of a tick. Rightfully so. But benches, except if they are not infected with tick-borne meningoencephalitis or Lyme disease, are not dangerous and do not cause inconvenience, except for some swelling and itching. And since we all have to deal with tick removal at some point in our lives, it's good to know the best removal methods. The "star" among the tips is to pull out the tick with a quick pull, the best with tweezers. But we discovered a trick that we like much more, and they are in the game cotton buds and water.
Method of removing a tick with a cotton swab and water:
You dip your finger in the water, so that it slides over the skin, and then you place it directly next to the parasite (it anchors itself deep into the skin with its stinger and secures it with two hooks) and you start make circles around him until he "drops". In principle, he will not leave any of his limbs in the skin. If a piece of it remains in the skin, it can lead to suppuration, that's why it is extremely important to remove it completely. Also, pay attention to possible symptoms, because the bite of an infected tick can lead to tick-borne meningitis, this is a viral disease of the meninges and central nervous system.
