It is still "in". The Compaq 6830s is a series of HP laptops that continues to revive the monotonous classic laptop design in the world of consumer electronics. A 17.1-inch screen and a keyboard with a separate numeric section welcome us from the elegant case. The WXGA-screen with Bright View function can display a resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels, which is assisted by a separate graphics card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3430 256MB. The notebook has a built-in Intel dual-core processor Intel Core 2 Duo T5870 (2.0 GHz). 3 GB of large working memory ticks at 800 MHz, and the specification is rounded off by a 320 GB hard disk with 5400 revolutions per minute. We will not be deprived of either Bluetooth 2.0 or WLAN connection (802.11 a/b/g/n). Video conference calls are also provided, whereby the interlocutors will watch us via the built-in 2.0 mega-dot VGA camera. So that it won't be just bare specifications: with the help of the HP-Wireless Assistant application, we will easily set up and enable (or vice versa) wireless devices.
