Ljubljanske mlekarne will once again prepare a surprise for the Planica ice cream brand for all fans of this legendary ice cream. This time they will grant their greatest wish.
In addition to being loyal to their favorite ice cream brand, Planica ice cream lovers are extremely nostalgic. On social networks and elsewhere on the Internet, we often see a desire for Planica ice cream in nostalgic cardboard packaging.
In order to once again show that we know how to listen to consumers' wishes and have fun with them, we will bring back Planica in cardboard packaging. But since the technology does not allow us to mass-produce, we will only make ONE and offer it to Planica fans at a real charity online auction, which will take place September 29, 2021 at 6 p.m on Planica Facebook page.
Ljubljanske mlekarne will add another EUR 1,000 to the final sum that will be reached by the buyer for the cardboard Planica and donate it all to a non-governmental organization of the choice of the new owner of the legendary Planica.
This year's campaign was named ONE ALONE IS A LEGEND and in this way highlighted the ambiguity: Planica is unique, as it is an inimitable legendary ice cream, and only one is a legend, as we will produce only one and only Planica in the legendary cardboard packaging.
How the auction works
The auction will take place via live streaming on Planica Facebook page. The auction will last from approx. 30 minutes to a maximum of 60 minutes. The asking price of the "retro" Planica will be 4,19 € (the same as the cost of a Planica bath in the store). The "teasing" will take place in such a way that the participant submits his offer in a comment below the download. The entire amount offered will go to a charity of the winner's choice. This same organization will add another €1,000 to the "final" amount of Ljubljanska mlekarna.

This means that they are made from fresh milk and cream of Slovenian origin, and that they are produced in Slovenia. In Ljubljanske mlekarne, the Planica family ice cream was produced for the first time in 1974. Thus, for more than four decades, they have been offering quality ice cream according to the original recipe, which in the Slovenian area is synonymous with socializing and sweetening.
