Love the British Royal Family? Many props from The Crown series are up for auction

Princess Diana and her legacy: The 'revenge' black dress and engagement ring from The Crown series will also be auctioned.

The auction house will offer several props from the famous series at auction in February 2024 The Crown, which are replicas of those worn by Princess Diana in her time.

Bonhams announces auction of over 150 props and costumes from the popular Netflix series The Crown. Including the iconic black dress and engagement ring that Princess Diana once 'wore'. The auction will take place in February and the items will be on display between January 11 and February 5, 2024 in London.

An auction of 150 props and costumes will take place February 7, and the remaining 300 items will be available for online sale from January 30. Among the most desirable are the objects that appeared in the frames associated with the princess of people's hearts. Princess Diana is one of the key figures of the famous series. The creators went to great lengths to create replicas of her jewelry and wardrobe.

The auction will also include a replica of the iconic 'revenge' dress worn by Elizabeth Debicki (estimated between £8,000 and £12,000) and an imitation engagement ring, estimated at between £2,000 and £3,000. A powder blue ball gown worn by Claire Foy as queen (estimate £5,000-£7,000) will also be up for auction. As well as the entire crown regalia, which is estimated to be worth between £20,000 and £30,000.

Other important accessories that will be offered at the auction to fans of the mentioned series are the facade of the door at Downing Street no. 10 (£20,000 to £30,000). A reproduction carriage will also be available Gold State (£30,000 to £50,000). “This is the only reproduction of a state carriage anywhere in the world and it is in perfect working order. The level of detail that goes into every single prop is extraordinary and gives people the opportunity to go behind the scenes,” said Charlie Thomas, Bonhams UK Group Director of Private and Iconic Collections.
