Parent company Mattel reported an unexpected $27 billion jump in profits (just since the film's premiere), and collectors are on the hunt for rare dolls as the value of some has soared. You will be able to buy your doll for a few tens of euros in the store, and at auctions special editions reach dizzying sums.
Favorite: Stefano Canturi Barbie
The dearest doll boasts a sparkling diamond necklace made of real diamonds. Its price is also suitable for this. This unique Barbie created by an Australian jewelry designer Stefano Canturi, was sold at Christie's auction in 2010 for 302,500 dollars, and the proceeds went to the breast cancer research foundation.
