Philips presented its new assets, with which it will try to convince the visitors of the IFA 2018 fair. The OLED TVs from the OLED 803 and OLED+ 903 series are already impressing with their exceptional image and sound quality.
With the new generation of Philips TVs, watching any content will become a real experience. Why will this really be the case?
OLED 803
Series OLED 803 is the successor of an extremely successful series 9002, which the producers managed to perfect. Latest screen OLED 2018 in combination with an improved image display structure and a new anti-reflective coating will provide exceptional reproduction of black and 10% increase in screen brightness.
The second generation of the Philips chip P5 offers technology Perfect Natural Reality, which contributes to the improvement of local contrast. The 803 series also offers a higher quality audio experience. This can be attributed to the more powerful woofers and improvements with deeper but accurate bass.
OLED+ 903
Philips is assisted by a partner company Bowers & Wilkins TV sound with series OLED+ 903 taken to the highest level ever.
The sound system is equipped with speakers of a British manufacturer, which are installed in specially adapted housings for a better sound curve of bass, middle and high tones. The result of this is less sound distortion, emphasized clarity and purity of sound reproduction. The design of the new Philips series is based on a minimalist silhouette with an extremely thin frame and two metal legs. We must not forget about 3-sided Ambilight function.
Philips OLED TVs will be powered by the operating system AndroidTM and extremely fast quad core processor with 16 GB memory. After upgrading the operating system, the system will support the features Google Assistant, which enables voice control of home smart devices, and Philips Smart TV Voice Control, which is compatible with Amazon's Alexa.
OLED 803 Slovenian buyers will be able to get in September, while it will be necessary to OLED+ 903 wait until in October. The series will be available in two versions with diagonals 165 and 139 cm.
