Since yesterday, three unique pieces of clothing designed by one of the greatest living legends, the godfather of punk rock, Iggy Pop, are also available to Slovenians! The Sailor Jerry brand is better known in Slovenia for the spiced rum brewed by the Americans in honor of world tattoo legend Norman "Sailor Jerry" Collins, and this year the brand presented bottled passion with the help of the king of rock and fashion icon, Iggy Pop.
Iggy Pop approached the design of a special fashion collection Sailor Jerry Clothing under the name "The Flash Collection by Iggy Pop". He designed for the brand three unique pieces – signed by hand denim vest, leather belt with handmade buckle and trendy vest patches – for which Iggy found inspiration in Norman, rum and pin up style. All pieces will only be available to the first 100 customers. Iggy was photographed in the pieces he designed by the no less legendary Mick Rock, who captured everyone from David Bowie, Queen to Lady Gaga in his lens.
Iggy designed it as the centerpiece of the collection blue and black denim vest, which she says she prefers to wear if she can't be upstairs without it. The vest has a recognizable brand emblem, an anchor, and the inscription "Death Shall Triumph" (translated as "Death will triumph"). Fashionable clothing is made only in 100 pieces, each piece is hand-signed by Iggy, and you also get six patches that are also Iggy's work, which Iggy says allow the vest to be individualized, transform negative energy and add that true punk feel to the piece. The vest is available for 450 euros.
