Let's imagine wide and pastel fields rushing past us. We travel by train, breathe calmly and observe the passing outlines of the landscape, while music plays in the background, outlining large objects from afar. Then we realize that we are sitting in the Cankarjev dom club, and Igor Matković is playing on stage across from us.
Trumpeter and composer Igor Matković will be with Polish pianist Marcin Wasilewski premiered the joint project at the beginning of February "Long distance journey". In company Robert Jukič on bass and Vladimir Kostadinović on the drums, the two musicians will be looking for an atmospheric moment and calmness in the sound, which is also the essence that led Igor and Marcin to work together.
"Long distance journey" will take us on a train journey where many new and surprising things can happen.
