Anyone who has wanted a table that they can sit at as well as stand at knows that the price of such a piece quickly moves into the four figures. If only Ikea made furniture like this... Voilà! Ikea has introduced the "interchangeable" Bekant sit/stand table, which takes you from a sitting to a standing position at the push of a button.
A table Bekant Sit/Stand, which varies in height from 56 centimeters to 122 centimeters and can withstand 68 kilograms, you can lift by pressing a button, thanks to the telescopic legs. The legs are made of steel and the table top is made of birch veneer. Of course, the table comes in different colors.

The benefits of standing desks are huge, and believe it or not, they can quickly become addictive.
Although you would expect that the lifting mechanism used by Ikea is similar to that of pneumatic chairs, where gas under pressure raises the chair, Ikea hints at an "electric framework", which means that the Bekant table hides some kind of motor or pump for work.
A table will be available for around 429 euros and comes with a 10-year parts warranty.
