At the beginning of August, Piknik cinema will premiere on the Slovenian coast. In cooperation with Hoteli Bernardin, the team of Ljubljana's Kino Bežigrad will prepare three consecutive events, where local residents and tourists will be able to enjoy the experience of watching summer blockbusters directly on the beach.
Friday, August 3rd, will be on the beach San Simon in Izola the long-awaited musical comedy is on display Mamma Mia! It's starting again, which will be a day later, August 4th, on the program also on Bernardin beach in Portorož. He will be there on Sunday, August 5th, the Slovenian youth classic symbolically returned home Summer in a shell, which will be broadcast with English subtitles so that foreign guests can also enjoy it.
The atmosphere will be completely relaxed and summery, so visitors can bring their own blankets, sunbeds and pillows, which will also be available for rental. As befits the concept of a picnic cinema, there will be no shortage of threads popcorn and other catering services.
Tickets for all three events are sold on the eventim.si website, and can also be purchased at individual locations before the screening. A ticket to the movie Mamma Mia! It's starting again 7 euros per person, and for the film Summer in a shell 5 euros per person.
