While the new coronavirus ravages the world and people are practically locked in their homes to avoid getting infected, Mother Earth continues without us. We could see news from all over the world (real, but unfortunately also fake) about animals that came to empty cities, we witnessed that the water in Venice is cleaner, some wild animals have returned to the Italian sea.
This time they are coming good news from Great Britain. Although they can't boast of sunny weather and a tropical coast, it seems that the quarantine has ensured that the coastal strip in Portsmouth so to speak tropical blue water.
He took these amazing photos with a drone Mike Woods, who himself was amazed at how the dirty water changed into azure blue and crystal clear. Some believe that the water around Portsmouth has become clearer precisely because of reduced pollution levels during the quarantine. This is not necessary, but the locals are very happy about this change, although they fear that it is only temporary.
Mike Woods said: “Recently there has been a lot of talk about the color of the water in this area, and I think Mother Nature is thriving! It's wonderful to see, you feel like you're in another country, really. This is phenomenal! The water has never been so clean, it's wonderful.”
If the British wanted the water off the coast to remain tropical as it is now, people should leave it alone, not only during the quarantine, but also after it!
And despite all the good news about Britain's tropical coastline, about clean Venice, even about the ozone layer "repairing" itself, all the environmental problems of this world will not be solved in a few weeks of human inactivity. IT'S UP TO US to keep it going!
