It grows best in places with diffused light. The soil should be kept slightly moist, but not wet. Water more frequently in summer and moderately in winter. Fertilizer for cacti will encourage abundant flowering, but the plant will thrive without it.
Money tree (Crassula ovata – Jade plant)
It has fleshy, shiny leaves and a distinctive bushy shape. Due to its ease of care, it is often the first choice for beginners. In some cultures, it is considered a symbol of luck and prosperity.
Place it near a bright window, but not in direct sunlight. Water it once or twice a week in the summer, and once a month in the winter. It is important that the soil is well-drained, as the roots cannot tolerate waterlogging.
Sago palm (Cycas revoluta – Sago palm)
With its archaic shape, it resembles a palm tree, although it is not. It is a slow-growing but extremely durable plant that can survive indoors for over 100 years.
For successful growth, place it in a location with bright but indirect light. Water sparingly – wait until the top layer of soil is completely dry. The sago palm does not like excessive watering, so make sure it has good drainage.
Cast iron plant (Aspidistra elatior)
It is known for its incredible durability. It thrives in almost any conditions, even in poorly lit spaces and with irregular watering. Its name is no coincidence - almost nothing can destroy it.
It is ideal for shady areas where other plants do not thrive. Water it infrequently, only when the soil is completely dry. Even if you forget about it for a few weeks, it will be waiting for you in the same condition – dark green and healthy.
