As part of Australia's annual Sculpture by the Sea event, the most stunning sculpture is one that seems to stretch to endless heights.
This year's biggest contemporary sculpture event in the world it spanned a 2km stretch between Bondi and Tamarama. Among more than 100 international works, the artist's inspiring creation attracted the most attention David McCracken with Title “Diminish and Ascend”. In his sculpture, he played with perspectives, taking into account the visual effects of simulating distance. The construction of the aluminum staircase, which gets smaller and smaller as it reaches higher and higher, thus offers the illusion of a path to the infinity of the clouds of imagination.
