Instagram: the new Layout app for collage lovers

Layout photos have no borders, so you can play around as you please.

A good half year after Instagram launched its first standalone Hyperlapse app, here's a new one called Layout. It was created for assembling photo collages, which is not new on the application market, but the recognition of the brand and its 150 million "fan club" will certainly help in dealing with the competition (applications Frame Swagg, Pic Stitch, Image Sizer,... .).

Instagram signed another independent application, Hyperlapse namely, the application has joined Layout. This one offers creating collages from photos and as the name itself gives (Layout in this case means layout) a set of (ten) different layouts.

Photos can be moved freely with a finger, turned upside down, zoomed in, and the format is "transferred" to the maximum nine photos. The application does not allow filters, nor color "framing", but offers options as is "Photo Booth", which instructs the smartphone's front camera to fire four shots in a very short time interval (like in a photo booth). Collage with kaleidoscope effects, mirror images and again, the user can share on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Flipboard, Slack and other platforms right from the app. And no, Twitter does not belong among them.

For now, it's only available for phones with the operating system iOS, for Androids and should be available in the following months.
