For the eighth time in a row, the International Festival of Percussion Bands, or BUMfest for short, will take place in Žalec in January. This is a very special festival where percussion and percussion music are at the center.
If you think you can imagine what it's like to hear percussion music, BUMfest destroys all these performances and raises a new story to the sky. According to the organizers, it is hard to imagine what musicians are able to conjure up with a rich and endless family of percussion instruments.
As every year, BUMfest will bring many artists, both international and local, to Žalec, which these days is becoming the most percussion city in the world. This year we will be able to enjoy the rhythms of the Spanish ODAIKO, the Slovenian Percussion Project (StoP for short) and the Austrian Human Dong.
