Internet Explorer is history. Well, at least as far as future Windows operating systems are concerned, since a successor has been announced for some time. It was presented as Spartan in the trial version of Windows 10, but now Microsoft has revealed the official name - Microsoft Edge. It will become the official web browser of the upcoming Windows 10 operating system.
Browser Internet Explorer it's like that TV series that was great for a while, but they dragged it out for too many seasons and we were all glad to see it end. Yes, Internet Explorer was no longer popular and Microsoft has worked to offer users something new, something better, something that won't be a target of ridicule. Trial users Windows 10 they already know the new product by name Spartan, and now also has an official name- Edge. The browser, unlike the gateway with the leading browsers Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox cut like 300 Spartans at Thermopylae with the army of Xerxes.

Microsoft did not place the Microsoft Edge browser on the "burning ground" of Internet Explorer. It has completely new foundations with which it will cope with the challenge of time. It will be possible to use it on personal computers, on smartphones (here, Microsoft has a negligible share compared to mobile phones with Google's Android operating system or Apple's iOS system), on tablets and on other wearable devices on which Windows 10 will be installed. As for the drive, it is at the level of the competition and can be for certain tasks up to twice as fast from the latest version of Explorer. If we look further graphical interface, it does not deviate too much from the competition (see tabs).
We count it among the novelties the possibility of entering data with a finger or digital pens and entering search terms with the help of voice. It will be ubiquitous digital assistant Cortana, which will monitor content and suggest things based on our preferences, search habits and location. So welcome, Microsoft Edge.
