Ljubljana – December 3

Paris – November 20

London - November 3rd to December 4th
In London, the lights are on for almost a whole month. The Wetsfield shopping center is the first to receive them, this year the honor belonged to the singer Rita Ora. The last one will be Trafalgar Square, where every year since 1947 a tall Christmas tree has been erected, a gift from the people of Oslo for British aid and friendship during World War II. The festive atmosphere reigned in Covent Garden on November 4th, Oxford Street on November 6th, Carnaby Street turned festive on November 13th, Regent Street on November 16th, and Winter Wonderland opened its doors in Hyde Park on November 21st.
New York – December 3rd
Just like in Ljubljana, this year on December 3rd in New York v Rockefeller Center lit the Christmas lights on the tree and started the Christmas season. The event is free and open to the public. Several thousand people watch it from the sidewalks, and hundreds of millions watch it live on television.
Tokyo - November 4th to December 1st
Lighting Christmas lights has become very popular throughout Japan. The first and most spectacular illumination belonged to the city of Kobe after the devastating earthquake in 1995. They are lit in various parts of Tokyo this year between November 4th and December 1st.
Singapore – 15 November
