He received the highest award of the iPPA Siyuan Niu from Xinjiang (China), who took a portrait of the 70-year-old Khalkha with his eagle (Man and the Eagle). However, they occupied the first three places Patryk Kuleta from Warsaw (Poland), Robin Roberts from California (USA) and Carolyn Mara Borlenghi from Florida (USA). The winner was overjoyed at the recognition and said that when he got the news that he had won the top prize, he felt like Jack from Titanic (Leonardo DiCaprio) when he got his ticket to the Titanic.
The IPPA Awards were started with a purpose recognizing the efforts and creativity of photographers.
