Iran is as if it is not of this time and of this planet. That's what photographer Anja Čop says on the occasion of her fourth book edition, Iran Imaginable.
Photos of Iran through the eyes and lens of Anja Čop are on display at the exhibition until mid-January. The three pillars of Anja Čop (who also photographs for National Geographic) are photography, family and travel, and she prefers to combine all three. This was also the case in Iran, where Anja traveled with her family in a converted military truck. She brought a bunch of excellent photos from the photogenic landscape there, and said next to them that Iran is a country that we think we know everything about, but everything we know about it is wrong.
Perhaps the exhibition Iron Imaginable, which is on display in the Trieste photo gallery TheArtPhotoGallery, will open new horizons for us.
